Abstract EN

This experiment was conducted in Agricultural Cooperative Farm in Wadi Al-Qaten/ Hadramaut in 2012, in the pots, on yield forage grasses (Lolium multiflorum L) to study the effect of the application of nitrogen and phosphorus fertilizer in the soil and how to take advantage of it in plant nutrition.

The transactions were distributed randomly, without fertilization (witness ),( N1P1 150 mg N / kg soil , 85 mg P / kg soil), (N2P2 300 mg N / kg soil ,170 mg P / kg soil) , ( N3P3 450 mg N / kg soil , 255 mg P / kg soil).The results showed that the addition of nitrogen fertilizer has led to an increase in the nitrogen content of ammonium and nitrate in the soil.

Consequently.

There was an increase in the amount of phosphorus which added rose content from mobile phosphorus in the soil.

The results of the experiment showed that the ncreasing quantities of nutrients have a clear impact on the amount of dry matter yield of the experiment, as well as on the content of nutrients and their being absorbed by the plant.
