تقويم جودة أصناف من المياه المعالجة لبعض محطات المعالجة في مدينة المكلا

Abstract EN

The physical and chemical properties of treated drinking water treated by five local private bottled water stations scattered in Mukalla city during the March and July months 2014 has been study .The results showed pH values in between weak basic weak acidic and approaching to international standards , the results also showed low values and concentrations for electrical conductivity , total dissolved solids, total hardness, calcium, magnesium, iron and sodium as well as sulfates, nitrates and chlorides which resulted in improving water quality compared to untreated raw water and make it safe and within the permitted Yamani and internationally limits.

The results showed the differences in the efficiency of the processing system used in the studied stations which was shown as differences among stations themselves in the values of some properties such as electrical conductivity, total dissolved solids, total hardness, magnesium and chlorides.
