Abstract EN

This study has aimed to highlight on the tourism sector in Algeria, as well as opportunities to achieve sustainable touristic development.

The study has found that Algeria has made significant efforts to promote tourism and achieve sustainable tourism, but the results achieved are not encouraging and are weak, and has also found a weakness in the competitiveness of Algerian tourism.The study has recommended the need to enhance interest in the tourism sector, give this sector a strategic priority in the various Algerian development programs, interest in diversifying tourism activity and the tourism Industry, developing the infrastructure in order to increase the competitiveness of the Algerian destination .
