Abstract EN

Banks are considered one of the main pillars of the transition to a market economy.

That is why Algeria has undertaken many reforms to improve the level of performance of its public commercial banks; especially as the financial and banking sector is one of the most important and most responsive sectors of global economic developments.

That is why the Algerian banking system has to adapt to global environment changing by adopting international control standards, as well as the shift to electronic transactions.
