Free zones has become a global phenomenon with distinction, most countries have adopted free zones as economic mechanisms for a gradual and orderly transition and a way to attract and encourage foreign direct investment, transfer and modernization of modern technology within the operating country, and achieve integration between local and existing projects in free zones.

This paper aims to study the Algerian free zones on the one hand, and to know the true reasons behind the abolition of the “Bellara” Jijel Free Zone, and the most important reason for its abolition is the lack of integration of the elements of the establishment and success of the free zones.
