Abstract EN

The Book "Nafh Al- teeb min ghosn Al-Andalus Ratib" is an historical encyclopaedia and also an important literary impact that we can not get over it when writing history, literature and geography.

Especially since its classifier has given great importance to the geography of the region describing Andalusian cities, characteristics and inhabitants.

The reader addresses several topics related to cities and mentioning their dimensions and distances that separate them from each other, it also touches its natural surroundings ( mountains,rivers and climate) and mentions the actions of the cities or villages and give importance to the distinctive elements of the city.

Based on the previous idea a research paper entitled " The Zahraa city in the light of the Nafh Al- teeb min ghosn Al-Andalus Ratib of Al-Maqri Texts :A historical study".

This city was built northwest of cordoba on the bride mountain, it is an important exploit of the architectural monuments of Abd el -Rahman Al- Nasser.

The study aim is to introduce the city of Al Zahraa and its most important urban facilities based on the texts mentioned by Al -Maqri in his work “Nafh al- teeb”, as well as emphasising that this work is irreplaceable when writing the civilisational history of Andalus
