El-Sheikh Which linked the reform work and the national struggle, He highlighted the relationship between the social, cultural underdevelopment that Moroccans suffer as a result of acts of deviant Sufi methods, and their fall under occupation and dependency, is the teacher of the first national generation that will confront the occupation, such as Allal El Fassi and El Hassan El Wazzani.

The role of the Al-Sheikh Alawi did not stop there, but he had a contribution in the post-independence period, in supporting the right, justice, freedom, combating delinquency, corruption, tyranny and opposition to official power, He had a presence in the political scramble witnessed in the country in the early years of independence, History has recorded his bias to the party in which he felt the devotion to the homeland and honorable political practice, even if it does not conform to his intellectual and religious background.
