Abstract EN

The research addresses the apparently-contradictory prophetic hadiths circulated at the time and place of the loss of the necklace of Āʾishah bint Abī Bakr (may Allah be pleased with her) by explaining the reasons for this apparent contradiction.

With the aim of denying the existence of such a contradiction, scholars applied two techniques: Al-Jam' (Reconciliation) and Tarjeeh (Preference or outweighing between hadiths).

The research reached several significant results and proposed recommendations.
