Abstract EN

This study aims to focus on the topic of sustainable local development as a new strategic development direction for developing countries.

Sustained local development is considered as a development plan that exceeds the requirements of economic growth, and goes beyond the function of correcting undesirable effects.

Its style relies on mastery and collective implementation of social, economic, environmental and technological options and priorities in order to find long-term solutions to local problems facing members of society.

This study concluded that sustainable local development is the only salvation for developing countries from their domestic problems, as it is a new development trend that has the ability to use the efforts of local people to meet their needs with the support of their governments.
