The studyaimsathighlightingways of developing the stock market in Algeria, whichis a source of finance and measuring the development of developed countries' economieswiththeir revenues and profits for the national product and its contribution to the development of emerging and medium-sizedenterprisesthroughtheir interaction in thismarket.

The results of the study concluded that the Algerian stock exchange is far from the effective capital market in achieving economic development, which is due to the many shortcomings, the first of which is the small number of listed companies, fluctuating in transactions, weak legislation and lack of incentives,We therefore propose that economic, social, cultural, legal and political changes be reviewed in order to activate the performance of the Algerian stock exchange.
