Abstract EN

Globalization has produced radical changes in the economic system in recent decades, as the countries of the world have moved to enter into regional and international blocs and federations, which led the Countries of Southeast Asia to establish ASEAN in 1967 to achieve economic and political objectives, and this study aims to highlight the progress of this Integration and addressing the most important obstacles that hindered its success, in addition to the requirements of its activation, the study concluded that the experience of integration of ASEAN achieved its desired objectives, notably attracting more foreign direct investment within the region.
