This study aims to identify the concept of digital citizenship, and its practices in higher education institutions, where the recent trend towards digitization in many fields has led to the need to teach it to the individual, as it is one of the approaches to knowledge management applications in higher education, which is electronic education, here was The emergence of electronic universities, such as the inevitable outcome of digital orientation, Al-Madinah International University is considered one of the successful educational models aimed at achieving quality in education on the one hand and developing the spirit of digital citizenship in the graduates of the university on the other hand, to help access the labor market with confidence and efficiency.
