Abstract AR
Abstract EN
Ethics and human in the ancient philosophy.
In this article; we are tackling the human relationship with ethics in ancient philosophy from both plato and Socrates perspective.
In fact; elaborating this subject intervenes with the context of the different philosophers 'views in determining the essence of ” human”.
Therefore; the sophists conceived of a human being as being a gauge to regulate the ethics of virtue and Evil after linking its nature to the lust and knowledge; which made Socrates go against them by linking the truth of things to the mind.
He considered that the system of values undergoes an ongoing process despite time and place difference.
For this reason; he allotted much time to build the intellectual and behavioral side of human.
Also; he went in favor of values of justice; sacrifice; happiness and the realization of the notion of social justice in various life aspects.
Plato considered virtue as a source of existence and perfection since he focused on the ethical policy and sought to introduce a new version of the state where the government is based on justice.
AS a result; he was keen on setting up the governor's specifications.
HE ALSO defined a just man as being and good because he linked social justice to internal meanings such as psychological and humanitarian.
It is noted that ethics were present in philosophical thinking as it remained attached to the human being who was the core of their research and the starting point of their sayings.
