Abstract EN

The right to revoke the Implementation of a contract is the effective legal mechanism for protecting the electronically contracted consumer or the so-called electronic consumer.

Such as mechanism allows the consumer to revoke his assent after the implementation of the contract if he finds that he too quickly expressed his will and that his assent was issued without careful consideration for lack of physical examination of the object in question.

This mechanism has been approved by the Algerian legislator through act No 18-05 on electronic commerce, so that by act No 18-09 amending and supplementing act No 09-03 on consumer protection and the suppression of fraud, this mechanism has been given a concept referring to the regulation to be issued on the terms and modalities of the exercise of this right on the part of the e-consumer in addition to a list of the products that fall within the scope of this right.
