Ancient nations and legislators knew the inheritance systeme and approved by the positive regims to wich they belong, but its principles and provisions differed from nation to another because of the different belifs and assets that embraced them.

Perhaps the most controversial issue in positive laws is the women's ingeritance.

Although inheritance rights are considered one of the most important civil rights wich have a financial nature and prove a person's humanity, women inheritance laws have been a controversial issue wehether in ancient or mothern laws.

Inlike islamic law wich its essence cofirms that it has done justice to women, despite of the criticisms wich accuse the islamic law of detracting from the value of women, because of her inheritance, half of the man inherits.

This study will illustrate the seriousness of these criticisms.
