Abstract EN

This research has for object one of the rites which focused the attention of the great scientists, that of the call to the prayer of Friday.

It is for this reason that this research is entitled "The legal value of Friday's call to prayer in light of the textual foundation and the doctrinal reasoning and certain problems of contemporary reality".

Indeed, the Koranic texts diverge as to as a part of the call to prayer; hence some opt for the suppression of the third call established by Khalif Othman.

However, we found that the third call was instituted by necessity in the presence of companions and was launched in the souk of the medina, and as a result, there are certain consequences such as the prohibition of the sale and the obligation to join the prayer in haste.

And in view of these consequences, we have concluded the legality of the third call to prayer.
