Abstract EN

This study deals with the topic of the global financial system as one of the most important mechanisms of the modern international system, with the aim of understanding the secrets of its development and trying to control it.

For that purpose, the different stages throughout history that witnessed the most important secrets of the development of this field have been examined, starting from how the principle of usury was devoted in banking, although it was a taboo in heavenly religions, then trying to find out the effect of technical and scientific discoveries throughout history in developing the financial exchange mechanisms, and finally addressing globalization and its importance in serving the United States perception in order to establish its hegemony within the world through the Swift system for financial transfer and the Insurance Agency System.

The study concluded that from understanding the secrets of the past, it is possible to understand the present and, consequently, have a better understanding of transnational interactions and the behavior of the various international forces active in the modern international system.
