Inventions are of paramount importance to development of societies and progress of States, which requires legislative regulation of their various legal requirements and guarantees to be accorded to inventors.

It may come up with an invention in the framework of a labour relationship by a employee, whether it is primarily assigned to inventive tasks, or use the means and tools of the employer without being subject of labour, as it may be reached outside these two cases, thus giving birth to a creative work from a personal efforts of employee, who is completely independent of employer.

According to these many types of inventions under a labour contract, there are multiple implications for both worker and the employer, each of which establishes rights to be protected at the national and international levels.
