The labor contract is based on a kind of balance that guarantees the rights of the worker on one hand and the rights of the employer on the other hand.

According to the Algerian legislation issued texts specific to certain categories of workers related to their work nature.

There is no doubt that the contract of maritime work contains some weakness points on the level of maritime navigation employer , which necessitates the existence of texts dedicated to the protection of this category at the level of the contract itself or at the level of its execution , which will reduce that gap and provides more protection to the employee .

In this paper, we will attempt to demonstrate the aspects of maritime worker protection
