Human development is a model of development centered on the Human person as the goal of development efforts on the one hand, and is the maker of development and the engine of its material and organizational factors and to which returns its returns and fruits on the other hand.

Thus, the organic relationship between economic growth and Human development is highlighted.

It should be emphasized here that the development reports of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) have confirmed that Human development is closely linked to economic growth, where people contribute to growth and growth to Human wellbeing.

In this article, we seek to highlight the reality of the level of Human development in Algeria by reviewing the results and achievements achieved in this field, according to Indicators of Human Development Index and official statistical data, and the extent to which they achieve the hoped-for goals, while emphasizing on the other hand the importance of directing the government development efforts towards building a society with justice Social and equal opportunities, for its members to obtain the necessary resources that ensure them a decent standard of living and a decent life, and promote more interest in Human development and make them the center of development.
