This article aims to identify the role played by Islamic banks in strengthening financial stability.

Indeed, we are witnessing the development of Islamic finance, and the international financial institutions are seeking to include it in their strategies and plans to strengthen the building blocks of this stability.

It also aims to highlight the reality of the practice of Islamic banks in Algeria by showing the constraints that hinder their growth, while emphasizing the challenges to be met to ensure their development and find them a place on the national market.

It is important to seize the opportunities offered by Islamic banks, particularly in terms of financing and strengthening financial stability.
