Private military and security companies have emerged, but the rapid spread of their services has made them the center of attention of the international community.

Note that long before these functions are restricted to limited services.

However, they currently cover almost all areas that are supposed to fall under the competence of the armed forces of the state such as protection of people and installations, training of the armed forces, and even participation in combat operations.

The major involvement of these companies in armed conflicts has led their employees to commit numerous abuses, in violation of international law.

Therefore, jurists have rushed to try to put these companies in a legal framework, trying, first of all to clarify a lot of ambiguity in these companies by defining a concept for them, then looking for legal means to protect the community.

Les sociétés militaires et de sécurité privées sont apparues récemment, mais la diffusion rapide de leurs services a attiré l'attention de la communauté internationale.

Ces entreprises couvrent actuellement presque tous les domaines censés relever de la compétence des forces armées de l'État tels que le la protection des personnes et installations, la formation des forces armées et la participation aux opérations de combat.

La participation majeure de ces entreprises à des conflits armés peut mener leurs employés à commettre de nombreux abus, en violation du droit international.

Par conséquent, les juristes se sont précipités pour tenter de placer ces entreprises dans un cadre juridique, en essayant, en premier lieu de clarifier beaucoup d'ambiguïté entourant ces entreprises, puis chercher des moyens juridiques de protection de la communauté internationale de diverses violations.
