Abstract EN

Since the year 1984, Ilizi State has adopted a permanent development program, stemming from a long-term development policy, mainly based on the main goal of stabilizing the local population on the one hand and the reconstruction of this state of strategic importance on the other hand, including its border areas.

In order to materialize these goals, it was necessary, then, to bring in human and financial resources in the sense of carrying out annual and multi-year development projects, with a view to meeting, as quickly as possible, the social and economic needs of the Elysian population as well as the residents coming to the state as part of their contributions to the development of the region.

The economic development mechanisms of this state were based on the development of important sectors such as agriculture, irrigation, economic and administrative base facilities, housing, education and training, and social and cultural base facilities.
