Abstract EN

This study aims to highlight the contribution of desert tourism in promotion of domestic tourism in Algeria, it is by standing on the concept of desert tourism, the main types and their requirements, as well as the search for reality and how to activate them, in addition to trying a case study of desert tourism in the State of Tamanrasset and success to highlight how their contribution to the promotion of domestic tourism in Algeria.

The findings of the research showed a link between desert tourism and promotion of domestic tourism in Algeria, the desert tourism contributes to the development of domestic tourism through its ability to create tourist and cultural skills, in addition to creating permanent jobs and reduce unemployment, particularly For southerners, as well as other service sectors, development of the tourism sector, the results also showed the contribution of desert tourism Tamanrasset in the promotion of domestic tourism by geo-location and enormous potential of tourism capacity.
