Abstract EN

This study intends to open up to Algerian cinema by the tendency to show the realism and imagination duality in the films that have been completed, in an attempt to identify these two poles as a fundamental issue related to the credibility of what the cinematic presents in its film.

Especially since this topic defined a wide discussion not only between artists, directors and cinematographers, but also extended to writers and critics in various literary races, especially in the narrative field, as the sex is the most embodied of the reality / imagination dualism.

Accordingly, we will try in this study to provide a review of some of the Algerian cinema films that bet on reality on the one hand and imagination on the other hand.

This is to show how the cinematic deals with these two poles.
