There is no doubt that colonialism, in all its old and modern forms, has employed all methods to control and dominate vulnerable peoples, and to the extent that it employs weapons as a decisive factor for occupation, it would not have been possible to do so without discovering and studying these societies, their customs and traditions, their cultures and lifestyles, and even different tongues and religions, which allowed the emergence of a new science called anthropology.

In this study we aim to know the nature of the relationship between anthropology and colonialism, to deny or confirm that anthropology is a colonial science, as well as the contribution of anthropology to the support of colonialism, the extent to which anthropology benefits from the colonial movement, and on the other hand, has anthropology provided any benefit to colonial peoples? Does colonial anthropological studies have any role in the ethnic and sometimes sectarian division of the southern hemisphere societies?
