In this article, we sought to understand the mysticism and its field work in the scientific and educational aspect, as well as in the liturgical ritual domain, at the level of the Algerian West, How did she manage to reflect these two areas even though they appear to be in conflict and differ, for education is a mental, scientific, dialectical behavior, and the rituals are of an emotional and surrender dimension We also try to identify attempts by the Sufi ways of the West to modernize their strongholds to get out of the ritual limitation, and to open up to the vastness of science and universality, as is the case in the Balkadid corner of Oran and the upper corner of Mostaganem.

We have the question: Did Al-Zawaya modernize itself or remained in the traditional way, did it practice developing its system or restricting it to the old role? Are the folkloric rituals practiced in them merely traditional past totem forms or do they have prominent implications for society?
