Abstract EN

The study aimed at evaluating the viewpoint and evidence of the journalist Noha Al-Sharnobi concerning the issue of the obligation of Niqab (The Face Veil); .

The study used the critical-analysis methodology to investigate the targets in question.

To gather the required data, a review of literature was administered.

The study came to the conclusion that Al-Sharnobi 's view that it is not obligatory for women to wear Niqab (The Face Veil) proved to be invalid because it breaks the tradition of the Salaf ( Our Righteous Ancestors ) who asserted that wearing Niqab (The Face Veil) is mandatory for the young muslim women.

The study has shown that Al-Sharnobi 's evidence proved to be unauthentic as well.

The study recommended that individual Muslims ought to be aware that it is obligatory for young muslim women to wear Niqab in the presence of non- Mahrams (not a spouse or unmarriageable relatives) and not to be influenced by false beliefs concerning this issue.
