Abstract EN

In the following historical study we try to highlight and to elucidate one of the important and critical topics during the long liberation process of the Algerian revolution 1954-1962.

This considerable topic is defined by the French as «the war of Algeria», which caused the Algerian liberation revolution described as an enormous human revolution ever known by the humanity during the twentieth century.

This human character is due to the human principles and treatments used by the Algerian liberation revolution in its daily practices with the Algerians and even with the French enemies.

The Algerian liberation revolution gave those people a moral human treatment according to the religious texts of Islam.

These human principals and treatments can appear to us in one of important French categories, which is the category of French military hostages.
