The aim of the current research is to identify the mental capacity of postgraduate students at the College of Home Economics and its relationship to self-efficacy and their level of cognitive need, and the research tools consisted of a measure of mental capacity, two measures of self-efficacy and the level of cognitive need, The results of the research found that the level of mental capacity among postgraduate students at the Faculty of Home Economics, Helwan University, ranged from medium to low, and the results of the research reached a statistically significant positive correlation between levels of capacity The mental and self-efficacy of postgraduate students at the Faculty of Home Economics, Helwan University, as well as the existence of a statistically significant positive correlation between levels of mental capacity and the level of cognitive need among postgraduate students at the Faculty of Home Economics, Helwan University, and among the recommendations of the research is to build programs in light of the theories of working memory to increase activity Mental capacity and its application to students.
