Writers have the right to choose any way to express or to reveal what's inside their chests with intent and moderation.

This applies to all the poetic genres such as the lyric, the narrative and the theatrical.

The poetic theatre is one of the genres by which the poet can express his intention with different expressive methods and multiple artistic means.

Therefore, the symbolic connotation in the play: "Al-Aqsa Return" by the poet Dr.

Muhammad Muhammad El- Gharabawy, is my choice for this subject.

These indications have dimensions which depend mainly, on their delivery, on sensory perception as well as the mental perceptions, thinking and interpretation.

I applied the symbolic indications to all the elements of the play; the events, the characters the conflict, the conversation, the time, the place and the movement.
