واقع التنويع الاقتصادي و أثره على النمو الاقتصادي في دول المغرب العربي : دراسة تجريبية

Abstract EN

This paper aims to highlight the reality of economic diversification and its impact on economic growth in the Arabe Maghreb countries (Tunisia, Algeria and Morocco), and this is based on a set of econometrics tests of the panel data during the period between 1990 and 2018.

It was found through this study that these countries suffer from weak economic diversification.

The results of the econometric study moreover showed that there is no statistical indication of the added values effect for the main sectors driving the economies of these countries on economic growth.

Accordingly, the decision-makers in these countries must go more toward diversification of productive base, which has become an urgent necessity to contribute to raising the levels of economic growth for these countries.
