أثر تحرير التجارة الخارجية على الميزان التجاري في الجزائر خلال الفترة 1990-2018

Abstract EN

This study aims to test the effect of foreign trade liberalization on the Algerian trade balance during the period (1990-2018), using the Autoregression model for the distributed gaps ARDL, by studying the stability of time series, testing joint integration, estimating its long-term and short-term equivalence and testing the validity of the estimated model, so that the study found a positive effect of trade liberalization on the long and short term trade balance, but this effect is not actual as a result of focus on petroleum exports, as the results also showed a negative relationship between the exchange rate and the trade balance.
