Modeling the relationship between an agricultural production and GDP in Algeria

Abstract EN

This study aims to diagnose the situation of the agricultural sector in Algeria by studying its importance in the national economy and its place in the development plans.

We also tried to assess the performance of the agricultural sector in Algeria through the problematic issue, "How the impact of agricultural production on the economic growth in Algeria 1985-2017" In order to answer our questions, we used a set of economic measurement tools and statistics in line with available World Bank data.

In the applied part, we focused on the statistical analysis of the variables related to the study, and follow the behavior of the variables of agricultural output and economic growth.

The results of the analysis showed that the agricultural sector contributed during the study period (1985-2017) in the development of the national economy along with the rest of the other sectors
