Abstract EN

The aim of this research came to show the qualitative step that the Algerian novelist has encompassed in a short time, that exceeded through it the traditional writing styles.

In this spirit this study aims to demonstrate the time technique experimentation in the feminist's Algerian novel « The Craving of the Horse » of Sarah Haidar.

The research plan was designed through three factors : dealt with anachronisms, the narrative accelerating, nonlinear narrative.

The conclusion presents many results, the most important was breaking the timeline is a proof to win the experimentation bet and corresponding the modern novel.

It is a sign that writer envisaged the beautiful sight which she considered that it illogical to express a fragmented and shaky reality in a coherent and progressive narrative time.
