Abstract EN

This research paper investigates the title of the play "Dreams of the Great Ogre" by Ezzedine Djelaoudji and examines it in relation to the data of "cultural criticism".

Its significance lies in the fact that it takes the threshold of the title as a tool for reading with a new critical dependency to account for the cultural secondary system in the deep structure and its visibility to the public.

This title constituted a phenomenon worth studying in accordance with the requirements of cultural criticism, as a cultural event pleading with its symbolic and aesthetic construction to include a moving authoritarian arrangement in a hidden and undeclared framework, reflecting the authoritarian ideology of the features of power and control, and the detachment of the tyrant ego that only exists through olute exclusivity and cancel the other one.
