Interpreting the religious text (Coran) is, for Contemporary Modernist Arab intellectuals, a problematic of cultural challenge, as a result of interaction with modern occidental culture through its arguments, disciplinary and its intellectual products.

Within the development researches, as in the religious writing in Europe after the religious reform in 16th century, by unraveling and enveloping techniques through modern linguistic and philosophical methods, for example, those of history, structure, and unraveling.
