Intellectual property drives development, the world has known many developments and innovations that have contributed to the advancement of social, economic and cultural life.

One of the most prominent scientific revolutions is what is happening today, which is called the technological revolution and the resulting inventions and innovations.

More importantly and more seriously, biology technology, known as biotechnology, poses a major challenge to the rules and constraints it imposes on various scientific, economic, ethical and legal levels, in addition to the great importance, that biotechnology provides in various areas of life (agriculture, health, food, medical, industrial and environmental).

From this point of view, the decision to grant patents for this type of biology has taken shape.

Which has occupied the attention of most countries, especially the developed countries, and made them think about establishing a legal framework for the protection of this technology, by granting the bond of protection in accordance with certain rules and conditions, due to the specificity of the living material.
