It is seen that the Waqf and the ways of investing it in recent years have been according a great interest scientificly and officially, as reflected in the relevant legislative texts.

After the made of Law No.

01/07 related on investment of the waqf and the statement of various investment formulas through which the waqf property can be used for the benefit of society And the national economy, as well as the issuance of Law No.

14/70 that concernes the conditions of agricultural lands Waqf leasing and how to do it.

This was also emphasised by the issuance of the Executive Decree No.

18/213 of August 2018 on the exploitation of waqf properties which are specifically directed to the realisation of investment projects, that are going to protect the waqf properties And exploitate and invest on it in order to reborn the role of the Waqf in the development process, which today needs to rely on alternative sources of development that contribute to achieve the desired development.

The latter reflects the will of the Algerian legislator and his understanding of the importance of waqf investment in over top the developmental objective for which this system was initiated in one hand, and keeping up the Algerian legislator the occurring development in terms of legislation related to the relation between the waqf investment and sustainable development on the other hand.
