Abstract EN

The aim of this study is to highlight the importance of professional selection process in guiding the professional identity of the nurse, we conducted a field study at the specialized public hospital « Mohamed Boudiaf », in the wilaya of Bechar, on a sample of 30 nurses, they were selected using simple random sampling from a research community of 122 nurses.

The data was collected using the questionnaire tool and simple observation, we have reachedan important conclusion: If the individual's choice of nursing profession is not motivated by self-desire, the nurse is born after employment desire to chenge the profession, in addition to not proud of his profession as evidence of self-fulfillement.
