Abstract EN

The efforts of the scholars of the hadithe until the fifth century hijri in the semanticThe present research paper attempts to shed light upon the contribution of modern researchers and thinkers of Islam in the field of semantics for the sake of an accurate interpretation of Islamic sacred scriptures as well as of the prophetic tradition of Sunnah.

The modern interpreters search to give an authentic interpretation of Islamic traditions by means of contradicting the earlier versions that have been 'corrupted' due to secular as well as the application of reason onto the prophetic scriptures, rational reasoning which is regarded as a prominent criterion to the modern spirit, since the modern interpreters seek to accommodate the religious scriptures to the rational empirical ground, and such a process could alter the authenticity of the meaning of the accurate reported texts of religion.
