It can be said that the West African and Sahel region, as a region that includes the arc of crises, has produced a number of security dilemmas that have been aggravated in recent years by the persistence of these causal movements.

Among these conflicts we have, extremism, terrorism, organized crime, etc.

A number of studies, especially the American ones confirm that, The North African region is a fertile area for the growth and development of African terrorism, especially with the emergence of a set of indicators of the growth of religious extremism through a number of advocacy groups and reporting, as well as the existence of a number of terrorist precedents, and gives some credence to these hypotheses is the vulnerability of countries in the West Africa To control the border and security management of its territory in view of the weakness of the potential and the geographical area of the direction of these asymmetrical threats as well as the weakness of economic efficiency that led to the spread of poverty and corruption.

We discuss in this paper the impact and implications of these threats to the stability of the State in West Africa in the face of challenges and propose a set of rational solutions to these asymmetric threats.
