This article is taught content analysis of Islamic education decision especially in relation to citizenship, and due to historical circumstances and realitie of modernization in Algerian society, had separated between the Islamic education and citizenship, and today, with transitions affecting the Muslim individual, be raised problematic about The extent to which Islamic education contains the principle of citizenship.

The article begins next to my conceptual about Islamic education and citizenship as procedural concepts in school and society, then figure out the dimensions of citizenship in Islamic education through the citizen's perceptions, his rights and duties and then talk about the mechanisms by which activation of citizenship in education Islamic, proceeding of religious reference and national identity.
