This study aims to identify the analytic semiology of the National French-speaking press political caricature , taking the election of the local parliamentary for MAI 2017 as a sample of study, to highlight the relationship between the government and people and how this relation is processed through the press caricatures, One of the most prominent results of the study is the concentration of the newspaper caricatures on strong colors in order to highlight bad qualities and illustrate the negative atmosphere in which the legislative elections took place.

At the same time, the newspaper used metaphors to make the iconic meaning closer to the reader's mind and consequently, integrate him in the subject.

Also, the newspaper opted for real shapes of different objects without exaggerating in representing the aesthetic qualities
