The theme of body and modesty is one of the subjects that fall within the field of human sciences.
In this article, we will try to understand the relationship between the body and modesty, as two variables from which, we can understand what is happening in Algerian society.
The latter, carries historical accumulations since their existence, and contains events in full controversial.
Here, we will focus on the relationship of the body and modesty with the public space and the veil, considering as elements of answers that give us the appropriate research tracks to allow us to define this relationship between modesty and body in a relevant way

Le thème du corps et de la pudeur est l'un des objets qui relèvent du champ des sciences sociales.
Nous essayons dans cet article de comprendre la relation qui existe entre le corps comme enveloppe charnelle et la pudeur, c'est-à-dire le contenu social qu’on donne à cette dernière.
Ici, nous insistons sur la relation du corps et de la pudeur avec les variables de l'espace public (le voile plus précisément, dans la mesure où ce dernier est considéré comme un artifice dont la symbolique renseigne sur la limite qui existe entre l’espace public et la vie intime).
La visée de ce texte est de proposer quelques éléments de réponses et autant de pistes de recherches permettant de cerner la relation entre la pudeur et le corps d’une manière pertinente.
