Childhood is one of the stages most in need of social care and support, especially if the child suffers from a chronic disease, so he needs someone to qualify him psychologically and socially in order be an effective person in society.

Social support is one of the important sources of social and psychological support and the volume of support provided to the child contributes to strengthening the entity The child through his sense support and attribution from those around him and the feeling appreciation belonging with the social group to which he belongs as well as helping him resist the fears facing him and reduce anxiety and tension and works and a sense of psychological comfort and safety, In order for social support to be integrated effective, all sectors concerned with child care and local and international organizations must participate and provide fruitful social support.

The research aims to find out the factors and causes that lead to the development of children with diabetes, and to clarify the difficulties and obstacles that refer between these institutions.

In the city of Baghdad / Al-Karkh, the number of the sample reached (200) individuals.

Among the most important results of the research is that most of the sample members range in age from (7-11) by (45) and by (45% ), and that most of the sample members are females by (60% ), and we also conclude that most of the sample members answered (yes) they support Children practicing hobbies and games by (97) and (97% ).
