Since the late 1980s, the Algerian cinematic production has been en countering a huge difficulty.

Mainly because of the weakness of the local market and the absence of the new generation of Algerian spectators who do not visit cinemas for several reasons, including the events of the black decade.

The state has adopted a special policy of public financial for cinematic projects in two different ways, either through the Fond for the development of cinematographic art, technical and industry, or through grants to public institutions.

Thus, this article discusses the policy used in Algeria to support the cinematic production, by focusing on the mechanisms, the nature movies production and their impact on the cinematic industry in Algeria.
