The Algerian legislator considered the issue of control of conformity of pharmaceutical products to be an important issue, which he gave distinct attention in line with the comparative laws, through Law 03/09 related to consumer protection and the suppression of fraud, as a general law applied to various products including pharmaceutical, and law 18/ 11 related to health, and the related decrees as a special law regulating various issues related to pharmaceutical products, by setting up control mechanisms in the stage of production of pharmaceutical - products, and other mechanisms in the circulation stage in order to ensure consumer protection from Non conforming pharmaceutical products.
