The concept of "odious debt” has often been raised in order to amend or cancel debt obligations that have been incurred by some countries as a result of internal political transformations, due to the corruption of previous regimes, and the fact that the idea that the debt incurred by the state is an act from which the people do not directly benefit, as It is mainly represented in suspicious international contracts and fake investment companies, or religion has been used to oppress and oppress the people through huge borrowing, including the intention to bankrupt economic institutions and fabricate economic crises, especially if it comes to international financial institutions.

We aim, through this study, to explore the concepts and foundations of "odious debts resulting from illegal actions, and how they were dealt with by international law, and on the other hand, how subsequent governments dealt with debts caused by dictatorial or non -democratic governments.”
