Abstract EN

This study aims to stand on analyzing and evaluating the most important events experienced by the oil sector in Algeria and its effect in guiding tools quantitative control of monetary policy of offers during the period (2000-2018).

The study found that oil change according to the mechanism of the supply and demand which in turn effect the economies of oil producing countries; the high oil prices also lead to the formation of cash surpluses in commercial banks ;which causes the bank of Algeria to reconsider its direction monetary policy; where the Legal reserve rate is the most used tool by the monetary authority in addition to the emergence of tool new than those known to facilitate deposits and retrieve liquidity through calls for proposals
